Liverpool and Fulham shared the spoils in what turned out to be an entertaining 2-2 draw at Anfield.
Andreas Pereira and Rodrigo Muniz gave the visitors the lead twice, but second-half goals from Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota gave the Reds a hard-fought point.
It was a fiery affair at Anfield as there were four yellow cards apiece, with Arne Slot also one of them as he received his second booking of the season.
However, the red card to Andy Robertson emerged as one of the biggest talking points of the game as Liverpool played out a large part of the game with ten men.
And Linda Henry has had her say on the incident and how Liverpool reacted to it.
Linda Henry hails Liverpool’s spirit after Andy Robertson’s red card
Robertson received his marching orders for a foul on Harry Wilson at the edge of the penalty area as the Reds found themselves a goal and a man down in the first half.
However, Liverpool quickly readjusted and grew into the game as they deservedly came away with at least a point.
It could be argued that Fulham could have had a man sent off as Mike Dean claimed Pereira should have got a red card for a foul on Ryan Gravenberch before the interval.
It wasn’t to be the case, but the Reds didn’t let their heads drop as a spirited showing earned them a well-earned point.
Taking to Instagram after the game, Liverpool owner John Henry’s wife hailed the Anfield faithful for rallying behind the players as the odds were stacked up against them.
Linda wrote: “A lot of refereeing in this draw.
“When the red card came out, Anfield filled in with support and Liverpool played hard and dominated until the final whistle.”
How many games will Robertson miss?
Robertson received a straight red card but it wasn’t for violent conduct, so he is set to miss one domestic game for Liverpool.
The Reds, however, won’t be too bothered as the Scot will only miss the Carabao Cup tie against Southampton in midweek.

Slot will also miss that game as he received his second yellow card of the season, with the Dutchman set to be in the stands for that one.
