Sofyan Amrabat has been training alone amid Liverpool links
Liverpool have had to change their plans this summer after missing out on both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.
The Reds have brought in Wataru Endo, but they could still do with another top-quality midfielder.
Jurgen Klopp‘s side have been linked with plenty of names over the last few weeks, and Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat, who is one of Manchester United’s key targets, is one of them.
Viola News even claimed that Klopp personally called Amrabat to convince him to move to Anfield.
Now, it looks like Fiorentina have all but accepted he’s going to leave. Their manager, Italiano, has left him out of his squad for their trip to Austria, and he’s apparently being made to train alone as well.
Speaking ahead of his side’s Conference League clash against Rapid Wien, Italiano said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “Amrabat is training on his own, he won’t travel with us for next game.”

TBR View:
Sofyan Amrabat has been heavily linked with a move away from Fiorentina for months now.
The £25 million midfielder starred for Morocco in the World Cup in Qatar last year. He was magnificent, and it seemed like it was only a matter of time before he moved to a bigger club.
The fact that Fiorentina have left him out of their squad and are making him train alone adds fuel to all the rumours, and we expect him to leave the club in the coming days.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool will table an official bid to sign Amrabat this week.
Klopp could still let ‘incredible’ player leave Liverpool, after claims he’s attracting interest
Liverpool could yet allow midfielder Tyler Morton to leave the club on-loan this summer.
Morton had always looked likely to continue his development elsewhere this season, although injury has gotten in the way of that.
Now fully fit and back in first-team training though, the Liverpool Echo report that the 20-year-old could move on.
Morton is said to be one of ‘a number’ of Reds players who could still depart before next Friday’s deadline.
A permanent move doesn’t appear to be under consideration, however. If a transfer does come about, the Echo report that it’s set to be a temporary one.
Morton set for loan switch
Had Morton not missed a chunk of last season through injury, he could have been a good bet to stick around this season. He was largely impressive at Ewood Park, despite a late season dip.
With Jurgen Klopp assessing his options in midfield, he’d likely have given the academy youngster a chance in pre-season.
Do well there, and who’s to say the manager wouldn’t have been impressed enough to count him among his first-team cohort.
Certainly, Jurgen has spoken highly of Tyler in the past. It was he who labelled him as being an ‘incredible’ midfielder before he headed to Blackburn last year [The Times].
Having learnt a great deal in the Championship, Morton should be a better and more rounded player now.
But having been injured for a while, the England U21 international now needs game time. He simply isn’t going to get that – or enough of it – staying at Liverpool.
As a result, a good loan would be nice. Journalist Darren Witcoop reported last week that Morton is ‘attracting interest’ from the Championship. For now, that might be the best place for him. Let’s see what happens.
