The team led by Jurgen Klopp enters the match in sixth place in the standings. For the first time this season, Liverpool won three straight top-flight games after defeating Aston Villa in their previous game.
In his press conference on Friday, Klopp provided a fitness update on his squad. Long-term absentees Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo remain on the sidelines, while Curtis Jones, James Milner and Roberto Firmino are all unavailable.
Ibrahima Konate’s first appearance in the team since his World Cup participation is encouraging, nevertheless. It will be interesting to watch how he does against Leicester, whether he starts or not.
