Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero took to social media to praise Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola after their final Premier League meeting on Sunday.
The 2006 Italy World Cup winner sent a social media message to Klopp and Guardiola on Sunday after a 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield.
It was the final Premier League meeting between the German and the Spanish coaches as Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Del Piero filmed the final seconds of the game and the touchline hug between Klopp and Guardiola after the final whistle and wrote a message in Italian: ‘Grazie’ which means ‘Thank you.’
Del Piero faced Guardiola as a footballer, given that the ex-Spain midfielder played in Serie A for a couple of seasons for Brescia and Roma.
The Juventus legend watched his former club’s draw against Atalanta after Liverpool-Manchester City but didn’t make any social media comments on the Allianz Stadium clash.
