Paul Merson has predicted Liverpool to sell Mohamed Salah amid growing reports that Al-Ittihad will make another offer for the winger.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, the pundit tipped the 31-year-old to leave Anfield with Saudi Arabia the destination for Salah, with Al-Ittihad having a £150m bid rejected by Liverpool for the forward.
It would take a Premier League record offer for Salah to be prized away from Liverpool today, yet expectations amongst experts are now high that the winger could leave for the Middle East.
Merson said if he thinks Salah will be a Liverpool player when the window shuts: “I’m going to go no. Neil Diamond, money talks. This is mind-blowing money.”

As a result, Liverpool have a huge decision to make today if Al-Ittihad do come back in for Salah, especially with the player seemingly keen on making the switch to the Middle East.
Indeed, Salah is one of Jurgen Klopp’s most important players and would be impossible to replace. But given the finances on offer, Liverpool might be helpless to accept such a massive offer from Al-Ittihad.
